after repeated failed attempts I sent it back to Ruger. I told him that I tried re-screwing the barrel on by placing it in a vise. I told him the barrel kept unscrewing during firing. I told the purchaser that I liked Rugers but had a serious problem with a Redhawk 41 magnum I had one time. while driving out west I brought up in conversation about being a collector of Ruger revolvers. I told him I was going to play a little joke on him. I told the seller that me and the purchaser were going out west hunting the following week.
This Co-worker did not know that the seller was an acquaintance of mine. Funny story in regards to this problem that I never realized was a real problem.īack about 14 years ago an acquaintance of mine who happened to be good friends with a co-worker of mine told me he had sold another co-worker of mine a Redhawk in 41 magnum.
